Bill would occasionally bump or pull your joystick connection, so you might not have input until you caught on. When he says he played to win, believe it! I think he did win more than the rest of us. We did have a lot of fun. We filled the house on Lakeshore with play testers once or twice a week for several months to help us get it right.
Hah, that’s funny. Just reading from the game’s tips from the authors section, you get a sense of how Bill Bunten played. In fact, my MULE friends joked that when you employed such trickery in game, you were pulling a “Bill Bunten” or that you were “Bill Buntening” somebody.
LOL…that little sneak! In that same spirit, if you want to come over and play test with us – you’re always welcome.
You should have used the Atari 800 version, not the C64 ones – original and best on the 800, proper 4 player!!!
